Obverse depicts the arms of Jerusalem and Anjou. The reverse shows St. John the Baptist. Scarce; some softness in details, legends bold, lovely gold color.

Joanna I was Queen of Naples from 1343 until her death. During her long reign she was involved in numerous conflicts, both internal and external. She was married four times.
